I was sort of getting crabby during a conversation, and (wanted to say it out loud to the other person but only) thought, 'Geez, I'm not stupid!'
But then had to admit that yes, I am.
Bbecause I looked down & remembered how I unknowingly got ketchup on my white shirt tonight.
blegh.
Sorry God, point taken.

just a normal day in the library
While sitting at a table at work (in the library) at school today, I looked over to see a girl walking by.
Or should I say scooting by?
This girl was wearing a cowboy hat, riding a scooter, and precariously holding onto a bag hanging from her handlebars.
As I looked over, I noticed this girl literally riding her scooter.
In the library!
(on carpet)
Craziness!

people-watching
Sitting inside the employee break room in the library at school today, I noticed a strange thing.
I like to sit next to the window and people-watch.
Nothing too exciting was happening until I noticed a certain boy walk by.
He was wearing light washed jeans, a forest green turtleneck, and dorky tennis shoes.
The frosting on the cookie?
He was wearing a magenta dress over his entire outfit.
Light-washed jeans, turtlenecks, and dresses- Oh my!

sweater zip-up
Yesterday I borrowed a sweatshirt from my sister.
That fact is not very important though.
However, the fact that it had a rather smooth and fast-working zipper is interesting.
As I zipped up the zipper quickly, I then proceeded to unzip it a little too.
Yes,
I zipped up my sweatshirt like Mr. Rogers.
Don't believe me?
Well then you are one of three things:
-you do not trust me,
-you didn't watch Mr. Rogers as child,
-or you're not cool
Because you know what?
the cool kids of the 80's (and their moms) watched Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood diligently, and with relish.
(Not the food, the adjective.)
And if you still don't believe me, Check this out:

walking to class
While walking to class the other day, I suddenly heard a weird noise behind me.
A girl was riding her bicycle, listening to music, and singing very loudly and horribly, 'womanizer' by Britney Spears.
The icing on the cake?
She was using one hand to do dance and do hand motions :)

STRANGE
Had a great morning & afternoon babysitting some cuties.
Apparently this is a great rocket ship for a 2 year-old:
Also, this makes a great fire hose for a 2 or 3 year-old:
As we ate our lunch of almond butter & honey sandwiches, oranges, 'cados, and peanut chips (pita chips),
I asked the boys what they wanted to do today.
The 2 year-old immediately said, 'Jump!'
Made me smile. We did that a month ago and then ever since then we always have to jump when I come over :) Kind of like when I taught some kids how to play hide and seek. And then we played it. every. single. week. And one of the boys hid in the dryer and then in the fireplace. Ah!
The boys took their nap about an hour and a half after I got there (score!). And I hung out with the new little guy.
Got in the car, rolled down the window and drank in the sunshine.
Drove to the library wondering what I could do this afternoon.
But that's where the fun stopped.
According to some creepy guy at the library, I look like Princess Diana.
It's too bad, you know, she DIED.
OHMYGOODNESS! I just kind of uhuh'ed really awkwardly and tried to avoid eye contact until he walked away. SO WEIRD.
I found what I needed and hightailed it out of there. Then when I got to the car I kept saying, "That was soo creepy! Creep!" and kept shivering- trying to get the yuckiness of the moment out of me.
Seriously though. What did he expect me to say?!
STRANGE
I did get some long anticipated cd's at the library though. And a season of ER & JAG! Woot!
